Acqua e Terre is a personal editorial project that explores two contrasting expressions of femininity through the natural elements of water and land.
Inspired by the ethereal allure of mermaids and the meeting point between the ocean and the shore, the editorial creates a visual dialogue between fluidity and strength. The blue tones, flowing silhouettes, and relationship with water evoke a sense of movement and softness, contrasted with structured silhouettes and the rocky landscape, which introduce a more solid and grounded presence.
Rather than portraying femininity as a single archetype, the series explores its duality: soft yet fierce, fluid yet grounded, delicate yet powerful.
I developed the art direction and visual concept, created the makeup looks, directed the models throughout the shoot, and handled the photography and post-production.
